Things we check for during a boiler maintenance
If you have boiler radiators and they don’t heat sufficiently when the boiler is turned on.
Our technicians will bleed the radiator to remove air. Protect your space, by putting down protective cloth on the floor and use a radiator key to open the radiator valve. A hissing sound is heard as air comes out of the radiator. When the hissing stops and water starts flowing out of the radiator, the valve will be closed and your space will be mopped up of any leaked water. The radiator should now heat evenly.
Our technicians will check the boiler overflow pipe for dripping water. If this occurs, it could mean the pressure relief valve is defective and needs to be replaced.
